I was born in Cleveland in 1942. I attended Cleveland public schools and graduated from John Adams High School in 1960. I graduated from Adelbert College of what is now Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1964.

- March 2003 - October 2008 Chairman, Libertarian Party of Northeast Ohio (except March - October 2005 and March - October 2006 and March - May 2008).
- Candidate for Central Committee of the Libertarian Party of Ohio, 14th District.
- 1988 - 2003 and brief periods in 2005 - 2006 and 2008 Region Representative, Libertarian Party of Northeast Ohio. One of the longest serving officers in that position.
- 1987 - present Delegate to Libertarian Party National Conventions
- 1977 - 1980 Treasurer, American Party of Ohio
- 1974 - 1977 Treasurer, American Party of Cuyahoga County.
