Macko will vote to repeal all federal gun laws, beginning with Roosevelt's exorbitant, unconstitutional tax on automatic weapons and all other gun laws except this one: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Macko will work to abolish the unconstitutional, thuggish Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Macko will vote to repeal all federal drug laws, beginning with the Harrison Act of 1914, and abolish the Food and Drug Administration. Alcohol prohibition did not work. The drug war has created suffering and death, the highest incarceration rate in the world and was the greatest danger to our liberties before the police state measures which the Republicans and Democrats imposed after too many Americans were terrorized by 9-11.
Macko will support Congressman Ron Paul's bill to abolish the Selective Service System. The Thirteenth Amendment abolished slavery except as punishment for a crime. He will oppose any new form of involuntary servitude under the collectivist guise of "national service". It should not be a crime to be a young person.
I will never vote for a draft. If the American people are not willing to defend our homes and the Bill of Rights voluntarily as free men, which are the only just causes for war, our country does not deserve to exist and should never exist as a slave state. It is better for individuals and nations to die honorably than to exist miserably as slaves.

Macko will work to improve education by abolishing the Department of Education and allowing tax credits, as long as the income tax exists, to anyone who wants to support government, parochial, other private or home schools.
I do not believe that the federal government has authority to abolish government schools or end compulsory attendance laws as long as the sovereign states or localities allow them.
Macko supports improving the health care of all Americans by abolishing the Department of Health and Human Services, eliminating Medicare and Medicaid and phasing out Social Security, but protecting those current recipients whom the government's taxation and economic policies have made dependent. The sale of all unconstitutionally held federal lands and property will provide sufficient funds for Social Security so that it can be phased out without further burdening your children and grandchildren with taxes or debt.

Macko will vote to limit the census to counting people, its original Constitutional intent for the purpose of just representation and end snooping into every aspect of our lives by intrusive census surveys.
Macko favors repeal of the National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984. It is M.A.D.D.ness to allow people to vote, and commit themselves to marriage and military combat at the age of 18 but not to allow them to drink until they are 21! Macko will never vote to violate the First Amendment, although he agrees with the statement which has been attributed to John Swinton, whoever he was and whenever and wherever it was made. Jury rights or jury nullification, as it is sometimes called, helped establish freedom of religion and end slavery and alcohol prohibition.
Macko will vote to require all federal judges to read the above mentioned statements to all jurors. In any case where this is not done, the defendant will automatically go free.
Macko supports honest investigation of the events of 9-11, including the Project For A New American Century report which stated that a "new Pearl Harbor" would assist the Bush administration to promote its agenda. (See COMMENTARY on 9-11.) We also need honest investigations of the Oklahoma City bombing, the Waco massacre and the Tonkin Gulf incident, which was used to embroil us in the Vietnam war.

Macko will vote to repeal all federal laws which discriminate against homosexuals, except where it would compromise our national defense. He will strive to repeal all federal taxes which they regard as unjust. While marriage has always been regarded as a relationship between men and women, voluntary contracts should be upheld by the states and homosexuals should have the same right to contract as everyone else.
Macko opposes any federal marriage amendment or law governing marriage.
According to the Tenth Amendment, adoption laws are under the jurisdiction of the states.
Macko supports the “Read the Bills Act (RTBA).” RTBA requires that . . .
- Each bill, and every amendment, must be read in its entirety before a quorum in both the House and Senate.
- Every member of the House and Senate must sign a sworn affidavit, under penalty of perjury, that he or she has attentively either personally read, or heard read, the complete bill to be voted on.
- Every old law coming up for renewal under the sunset provisions must also be read according to the same rules that apply to new bills.
- Every bill to be voted on must be
- published on the Internet at least 7 days before a vote, and Congress must give public notice of the date when a vote will be held on that bill.
- Passage of a bill that does not abide by these provisions will render the measure null and void, and establish grounds for the law to be challenged in court.
- Congress cannot waive these requirements.

Macko promises to support our troops by bringing them safely home now from Iraq, Afghanistan and the rest of the world. The current war between Russia and Georgia is another example of how our government's meddling always entangles us in other people's wars.
The House of Representatives has authority to do so since it has the power to originate all spending measures. Therefore, it is the most powerful branch of the federal government. To bring them home now, it is only necessary to end all financing except for that purpose.
Macko strongly opposes H.C.R. 362, an insane proposal to blockade and embargo Iran. This is an act of war which the incumbent supports and which could lead us into World War III, with possible results of an economic collapse and a police state..
He will strive diligently to reestablish the principles of Thomas Jefferson and the rest of the Founding Fathers; Peace, commerce and honest friendship with all Nations, entangling alliances with none.

There is no immigration problem. There is an invasion problem. If you elect me, I will vote to station our troops along our southern border, to build whatever fences are necessary and apprehend and return all illegals to their homes. This can and should be done by enforcing our current laws and not infringing on the rights of Americans. We should not allow the government to use the invasion problem which it created by not enforcing the law as an excuse for setting up a police state.

Section 1. The Government of the United States shall not engage in any business, professional, commercial, financial or industrial enterprise except as specified in the Constitution. Section 2. The constitution or laws of any State, or the laws of the United States shall not be subject to the terms of any foreign or domestic agreement which would abrogate this amendment. Section 3. The activities of the United States Government which violate the intent and purpose of this amendment shall, within a period of three years from the date of the ratification of this amendment, be liquidated and the properties and facilities affected shall be sold. Section 4. As a small symbol of sympathy for the American people, Macko will support Congressman Ron Paul's proposal for a federal gasoline tax moratorium until gasoline falls below $2.50 per gallon.
Macko supports true free trade but opposes those measures, multi-thousand page treaties and agreements, which restrict our national sovereignty, including the North American Union, the WTO, NAFTA, CAFTA and FTAA.
Macko will vote to require the government to stop reporting false inflation figures which do not include food and energy costs and which distort housing costs. Otherwise, the bureaucrats who manufacture these figures should go without using food and energy themselves.
Macko favors a phase-out of Social Security, using proceeds from the sale of federal lands and other property for that purpose and allowing anyone who wishes to do so to opt out of the system now.
Macko supports improving the health of the American people by abolishing the Department of Health and Human Services, the Food and Drug Administration, Medicare, Medicaid and all corporate and individual welfare. These programs are all unconstitutional and harmful to the self-reliance of the American people. Tax incentives to businesses to provide health care should end. Tying health care to employment is a primary cause of jobless people not having insurance. Tax incentives to individuals to provide for their own health insurance should be established as long as the federal income tax is in force.
If the American people allow our health care system to be totally socialized, the government will regulate your every action, including when you get up, when you go to bed, your diet, exercise and all other behavior, just as your parents did when they were responsible for your health but without the loving care which they had for you. You will be reduced to part of a herd of government livestock. If you have a "right" to health care, which doctors and nurses do you want to enslave to provide you with that care?
