Vote for Macko to restore liberty. Macko will vote to repeal the obscenely misnamed "USA PATRIOT" Act, the communazi Real ID Act, the Military Commissions Act, the John Warner "Defense" Act and all past and future police state measures of the Bush regime and all previous administrations which violate the Constitution and Bill of Rights or which restrict our liberties.
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Macko will vote to repeal all federal gun laws, beginning with Roosevelt's exorbitant, unconstitutional tax on automatic weapons and all other gun laws except this one: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Macko will work to abolish the unconstitutional, thuggish Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Macko will vote to repeal all federal drug laws, beginning with the Harrison Act of 1914, and abolish the Food and Drug Administration. Alcohol prohibition did not work. The drug war has created suffering and death, the highest incarceration rate in the world and was the greatest danger to our liberties before the police state measures which the Republicans and Democrats imposed after too many Americans were terrorized by 9-11.
Macko will support Congressman Ron Paul's bill to abolish the Selective Service System. The Thirteenth Amendment abolished slavery except as punishment for a crime. He will oppose any new form of involuntary servitude under the collectivist guise of "national service". It should not be a crime to be a young person.
I will never vote for a draft. If the American people are not willing to defend our homes and the Bill of Rights voluntarily as free men, which are the only just causes for war, our country does not deserve to exist and should never exist as a slave state. It is better for individuals and nations to die honorably than to exist miserably as slaves.
Macko will work to improve education by abolishing the Department of Education and allowing tax credits, as long as the income tax exists, to anyone who wants to support government, parochial, other private or home schools.
I do not believe that the federal government has authority to abolish government schools or end compulsory attendance laws as long as the sovereign states or localities allow them.
Macko supports improving the health care of all Americans by abolishing the Department of Health and Human Services, eliminating Medicare and Medicaid and phasing out Social Security, but protecting those current recipients whom the government's taxation and economic policies have made dependent. The sale of all unconstitutionally held federal lands and property will provide sufficient funds for Social Security so that it can be phased out without further burdening your children and grandchildren with taxes or debt.
Macko endorses the Bricker Amendment
http://en.wikipedia.or...icker_Amendment which was written by former Ohio Senator John Bricker to make sure that treaties never supercede the Constitution or deprive us of our liberties:
Introduced into the Senate in February, 1952, as Senate Joint Resolution 130, the "Bricker Amendment" to the Constitution read as follows:
- Section 1. A provision of a treaty which conflicts with this Constitution shall not be of any force or effect.
- Section 2. A treaty shall become effective as internal law in the United States only through legislation which would be valid in the absence of treaty.
- Section 3. Congress shall have power to regulate all executive and other agreements with any foreign power or international organization. All such agreements shall be subject to the limitations imposed on treaties by this article.
- Section 4. The congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
Macko will vote to limit the census to counting people, its original Constitutional intent for the purpose of just representation and end snooping into every aspect of our lives by intrusive census surveys.
Macko favors repeal of the National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984. It is M.A.D.D.ness to allow people to vote, and commit themselves to marriage and military combat at the age of 18 but not to allow them to drink until they are 21! For more information see "College presidents are asking: Should the drinking age be lowered?" by Janet Okoben on pages A1 and A6 of the August 19, AD 2008 issue of The Plain Dealer.
Macko will work to end the unconstitutional funding of Child Services kidnappers and local police which has too often changed their proper role as defenders of the lives, liberty and property of citizens to thuggish agents of a police state.
Macko will vote to repeal the Violence Against Women Acts of 1994 and 2005 which have been used to destroy tens of thousands of families. For more information about this serious problem, another example of unconstitutional fedgov meddling, see "Restraining Orders Out of Control" by Gregory A. Hession, J.D. from the August 4, AD 2008 issue of The New American.

Macko will never vote to violate the First Amendment, although he agrees with the statement which has been attributed to John Swinton, whoever he was and whenever and wherever it was made. The situation now is worse by orders of magnitude and everything which is attributed to Mr. Swinton also applies to more modern forms of media with the exception of the internet which we must keep the government from controlling at all costs. This is why the Libertarian Party does not get as much coverage as we would like to have.

There is no such thing, at this date of the world's history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it.
There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone.
The business of the journalist is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press?
We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes.(Source: Labor's Untold Story, by Richard O. Boyer and Herbert M. Morais, published by United Electrical, Radio & Machine Workers of America, NY, 1955/1979.)
Here is another excellent analysis of the establishment media, "The Media Is The Enemy" from The American Free Press http://www.americanfre...l/about_us.html
Macko will work to abolish the Federal Communications Commission and establish a private property system of homesteading of frequencies for stations which broadcast across state lines.
